The crew of Wight Sky rescued two young teenage boys who had been thrown into the Solent from a capsized dinghy just outside the Lymington River on Tuesday evening.

Wightlink has teamed up with the Andrew Simpson Foundation’s Watersports Centre in Langstone Harbour to provide 500 young people aged 12 and 13 years from Portsmouth schools with the opportunity to experience sailing for themselves.
Pioneering artificial rockpools (or ‘vertipools’) attached to the side of Wightlink’s harbour in Fishbourne, Isle of Wight last year are already attracting a fascinating range of Solent marine life.

Wightlink is changing its car parking arrangements at Ryde Pier on Tuesday 26 June 2018, installing new ticket machines and offering more payment choices for customers.
Wightlink’s staff at Ryde Pier sprang into action when a customer reported seeing an exhausted dog swimming half a mile out to sea near the end of the pier at 07:00 this morning (Sunday, 3 June 2018) .
